¤ A fair is being held at Ghadira ta' Sarraflu, Kercem, today from noon onwards. The fair will include a motorbike exhibition, an area for children and lottery games.

¤ The biblical play Guzeppi Mibjugh minn Hutu, directed by Josephine Azzopardi, is being staged today at 6 p.m. at Xewkija parish centre.

¤ Minister Giovanna Debono will inaugurate an exhibition on the first Maltese poetess, Mary Meilak, to mark the 100th year of her birth, on the occasion of World Book Day, on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Public Library. The exhibition will also feature new books.

¤ Bishop Nikol Cauchi will celebrate Mass to mark the centenary of the birth of poetess Mary Meilak at St George's Basilica in Victoria on Friday at 7 p.m. After Mass, President Eddie Fenech Adami will unveil a bust of the poetess on St George's Square, Victoria. The event is being organised by the Fondazzjoni Belt Victoria.

¤ The Gozo Medical Association is holding a lecture presentation, followed by a dinner at L-Imgarr Hotel, Ghajnsielem, on Friday from 8.15 a.m. Dr Mario Saliba will be discussing hyperbaric oxygen therapy and Dr Norbert Vella, a consultant neurologist, will talk about the medical management of Parkinson's Disease and the Optimised Levodopa therapy.

¤ The 30th Gozo Half-Marathon, organised by the Xaghra Youth Centre, in collaboration with Xaghra council, leaves Victory Square, Xaghra, on Sunday at 9.30 a.m. and will go one till noon.
