¤ An open day and bazaar, aired live on RTK, is being held at the Arka Respite Centre, Ghajnsielem, today. Home items, food and wine, figolli, sweets, books, plants, toys and tools will be on sale.

¤ Il-Golgota, an exhibition at the Vocational Centre, Xaghra, is open today from 9.30 a.m. to noon and from 6.30 to 9 p.m.

¤ An Easter pageant, Fegg il-Jum, is being held today at 5 p.m. on Victory Square, Xaghra, followed by a procession with the statue of the Risen Christ, accompanied by the Victory Band at 6 p.m.

¤ Princess Diaries 2 - Royal Engagement is being shown today at 5.30 p.m. at the Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria.

¤ An Easter concert, featuring soprano Katri Paukkunen and tenor James Edwards is being organised by Nadur council in aid of tsunami victims in collaboration with Chorus Urbanus Productions and Stardom Promotions Agency, today at 4 p.m. at the MBC Theatre, Nadur. Entrance is free. Donations will be collected during the concert.

¤ A cultural outing for the feast of St Gregory is being organised on Wednesday by the Cathedral parish. Tickets, at Lm3.50 include transport from Savina Square, Victoria, and back, can be obtained from Coney Island Bar on 2155-1289 or Grace Debono (2155-1460). The group leaves at 7 a.m. and will catch the 6 p.m. ferry.

¤ A fair is being organised at the Ghadira ta' Sarraflu in Kercem on Sunday. There will be spot prizes and a motor exhibition.

¤ St James Hospital (Gozo), in collaboration with Schering and the Gozo local councils, are organising a talk about hormone replacement therapy, breast screening and nutrition. The speakers are nutritionist Kathryn Borg, gynaecologist Dr Isabel Stabile, and radiologist Dr Salvina Zrinzo. The talk, followed by refreshments, will be held on April 5 at 9 a.m. at Palazzo Margerita, Sannat. Entrance free. For free transport contact your local council.

¤ The Eden Foundation in Gozo is organising a collective art exhibition at 104, Republic Street, Victoria. It will remain open until April 10. Opening hours: Monday to Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6.45 p.m., and Fridays to Sundays from 10 a.m. to 7.30 p.m.

¤ The Cultural Committee is organising a ceremony presided over by Gozo Minister Giovanna Debono on the occasion of Freedom Day, on Thursday at 10.15 a.m. on Independence Square, Victoria.

¤ The Legion of Mary in Gozo is holding the Marian Song Festival on May 14 at the Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria. The festival is open to Gozitan singers (starting from seven years old upwards) and groups.
