¤ The feast of St Gregory is being celebrated in Kerçem today. Bishop Nikol Cauchi will lead pontifical Mass at 9 a.m. Solemn vespers will be led by seminary rector Fr Anton Teuma at 4 p.m., followed by a procession with the statue of St Gregory, accompanied by the St Gregory Band conducted by Mro Marco Gauci.

¤ An Easter bazaar in aid of Xaghra basilica is being held at the shop near the church from today to Sunday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Figolli, Easter eggs, drinks, soft toys and other items will be on sale.

¤ The Way of the Cross is being held today at 3.30 p.m. from Ta' Pinu Sanctuary up Ta' Ghammar Hill.

¤ The Gozitan group Support lill-Missjunarji is organising a tea tombola in aid of Gozitan missionaries working in Third World countries today at 3.30 p.m. at the Crystal Palace, Marsalforn. Tickets are available from Georgette Bezzina (tel. 2155-5709) and Paul Balluci (2155-1748).

¤ A Cinderella Story is being shown today at 5.30 p.m. at the Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria.

¤ The Eden Foundation in Gozo is organising a collective art exhibition at 104, Republic Street, Victoria. It will be inaugurated officially today and will remain open until April 10. Opening hours: Mondays to Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 6.45 p.m. and Fridays to Sundays from 10 a.m. to 7.30 p.m.

¤ The Ghajnsielem Drama Group is staging Il-Qawmien, a Passion play by JoAnne Debrincat, tomorrow and on Tuesday at 7.30 p.m. at Ghajnsielem parish church. This is the group's 18th production and over 50 actors will be taking part.

¤ A meeting for Gozitan men is being organised on the occasion of the feast of St Joseph on Wednesday at 6 p.m., at Ta' Pinu Sanctuary, followed by a penitential service led by Bishop Nikol Cauchi.

¤ Bishop Cauchi will celebrate Mass at 5.30 p.m. on Friday, feast of Our Lady of Sorrows, on the parvis of St James church, Independence Square, Victoria. The Vicar General, Mgr Giovanni B. Gauci, will then lead a penitential pilgrimage through the main streets of the town.

¤ A Holy Week exhibition is being organised from Friday to March 25, from 3.30 to 8.30 p.m. at Xlendi church.

¤ The Victory Band, under the direction of Mro Joseph Galea, is organising a concert of sacred music at Xaghra basilica on Saturday at 7.15 p.m. Baritone Anthony Montebello, soprano Rita Dimech and the Nativitas Choir, directed by Sylvana Bonello and Michael Curmi, will take part.

¤ La Stella Band is giving a concert of sacred music on Saturday at 7.30 p.m. at St George's basilica, Victoria.

¤ L-Akbar Sigriet, a three-act play by Lino Grech, is being staged by the Gharb Drama Group Stage Christophers on Saturday at 7.30 p.m. at Gharb parish centre. The play is about a priest caught up in the secret of confession. Tickets may be obtained from the parish centre.
