I read with interest Malcolm Naudi's article "Maltacom undertaking biggest operation in its history to upgrade its network" (The Sunday Times, April 17).

It gives one great satisfaction to note that Maltacom has made such a dramatic success under the able guidance of its management team.

It would be very appropriate if a tiny part of this success be shared with resellers of Maltacom telecards/Easyline cards and Go Mobile top-up cards by way of improving the circa 4% and 7% commission respectively given to the retailers.

When one considers that retailers are compelled to buy fixed lots of cards worth hundreds of liri paid in advance this meagre commission does not even cover bank interest.
