Austin Walker, chief executive officer of the Mizzi Organisation, was recently appointed chairman of First Insurance Brokers Ltd.

The appointment coincides with that of Hugh Mercieca, financial controller of the Mizzi Organisation, as the firm's new company secretary.

The group of companies specialises in tailored financial services products including risk management, insurance broking and retirement planning.

The group recently relocated to larger and more functional offices at 25, Princess Elizabeth Street, Ta' Xbiex.
