The government has announced the composition of the PBS board of directors and its editorial board.

Dr Tonio Portughese is chairman of the board of directors. The members are Albert Marshall (deputy chairman)  Dr Claire Bonello, Tony Cassar Darien, Edward Cassar Delia, Dr Frank Portelli, Paul Vella and Adriana Zarb Adami

EDITORIAL BOARD

Joseph Sammut will head the editorial board. He has been active in the PR industry and was Caritas fund-raising executive. He was also CEO of  Malta International Airport,the Malta Hotels and Restaurants Association and head of sales at Air Malta. He also served on the board of the Broadcasting Authority and was head of news of Radio Malta and director of TV programmes. 

The other members of this board will be  Felix Agius and Dr Martin Fenech.

The government said a review board will be set up shortly to pilot reforms in public broadcasting.
