A concert in aid of the James Grech Cancer Fund, by the Euro Academy Youth Orchestra, will be held at the Corinthia Palace Hotel, in Attard on Monday at 7.30 p.m.

James Grech, 28, founder and organiser of the Stradivari Season, has been struck down by lymphoblastic lymphoma, an extremely rare and aggressive form of cancer. He is receiving treatment at the Mater Hospital in Brisbane, Australia.

The orchestra, under the direction of Manoel Pirotta, will perform a varied programme including works by Mozart, Haydn, Carmelo Pace, Mro Pirotta, Ketelbey, Smetana and Lloyd Webber.

Tickets will be available at the door at Lm2. Combined concert and dinner tickets cost Lm5. Reservations for the dinner are being taken till Sunday on 9945 7126, 7953 7925 or 9986 4967.
