A Bulgarian woman was yesterday conditionally discharged for six months after she admitted to trying to steal money from a Valletta shop.

Elena Dimitrova Petrova, 22, pleaded guilty to trying to steal Lm47 from Galdes Household Specialties on Tuesday.

Police Inspector Pierre Micallef Grimaud and Alexander Grech prosecuted.
