A restaurant manager was conditionally discharged for 18 months for stealing over Lm1,000 worth of electricity over four years. Magistrate Consuelo Scerri Herrera found Jesmond Agius, 31, of Paola guilty of the theft of electricity at Palm Valley Bar and Restaurant, in Marsacala.

Police Inspector Alfred Mallia prosecuted.
