A construction worker has been hospitalised after falling into a shaft on Wednesday.

The police said the accident took at Triq it-Torri ta’ Alof De Wignacourt, in Xgħajra.

The 44-year-old from Birzebbuga fell a height of about one metre, but was seriously injured.
