Since many consumers phone me up at the Consumer and Competition Division, where I am temporarily based, I must inform you that it is not my role to deal with consumer complaints at the Division. If you have any queries about consumer problems and/or complaints please call on freephone 8007-4400. There are qualified staff members to deal with consumer issues, including complaints.

My involvement in the Division is related to consumer education, giving talks to various groups of consumers. Indeed I spend a lot of time "on the road". I appeal to consumers to co-operate.
