The introductory session of the next Alpha course will be held at Ibraġ parish church on Thursday at 7.30 p.m.
At some point in our life we all ask ourselves the question: 'Does God exist?' And if God does exist and I had the chance to ask Him one question, what would it be?
Some may want to ask God personal or philosophical questions such as 'Can you hear me?', 'How can I know that you really exist?', 'What am I doing here?', 'Do I have a purpose in life?', 'What is the meaning of it all?', 'Why does it always feel like my life has something missing?', and 'Is there more to life than this?'
Others may want to pointedly ask God why He allows suffering, why He lets so many bad things happen to good people, and why he permits natural disasters that kill so many innocent victims.
People with these and other questions who are willing to take the time to look for answers, are invited to attend the first session, with no obligation to complete the free 10-week course.
The team running the course do not claim to have all the answers to these questions. Their role is to welcome people who, like themselves, are searching for a meaning.
