Dr Delia had called for the case to be heard with urgency and said the whole truth, and not just part of it, had to emerge. The PN leader had insisted that the Opposition needed the full report so that it could fulfil its constitutional function.

The Attorney General had rebutted the constitutional application and said urgency was not necessary.

The court said the very fact that the case had been filed by the leader of the Opposition - a constitutional position - meant it should be heard with urgency.

The case will be heard on September 3.
