Creditinfo Group CEO Reynir Grétarsson has received Iceland's Entrepreneur of the Year award. This award is given annually by Viðskiptablaðið to an individual that has made valuable contributions to business in an ethical and innovative manner.
Viðskiptablaðið is an Icelandic financial newspaper, specialising in business news and is the main organiser of business meetings and spearheads discussions on economic issues.
On accepting this award Mr Grétarsson stated: "It is the team, rather than the team manager alone, that decides the outcome and it is therefore on behalf of the whole team, all 450 employees of Creditinfo group, in Iceland and abroad, that I receive this award". He added that Creditinfo's strength lies in its flexibility and ability to respond that differentiates it as an organisation. This has allowed Creditinfo to expand rapidly and become a successful, innovative business.
