A Senglea man was yesterday jailed for two years for stealing a video recorder after a court ruled he did not seem to want to change his ways.

Dominic Cuschieri, 37, was found guilty of stealing the video recorder worth less than Lm500 from Miriam Reid's house in Cospicua on September 24, 1999, at 4 p.m.. Cuschieri was also found guilty of relapsing and Magistrate Abigail Lofaro remarked that his criminal record was rather worrying and he had been given quite a few chances to reform.

Police Inspector Angelo Baldacchino prosecuted.
