Croatia coach Zlatko Kranjcar plans to field an unchanged team, including his 20-year-old son Niko, for the World Cup European Group Eight qualifier against Sweden tomorrow.

The Dinamo Zagreb captain had been under pressure to justify his place in midfield before the 3-0 win against Hungary on Saturday.

Kranjcar told the daily Jutarnji List that he would probably play an unchanged side against Sweden, who defeated Malta 7-0.

"Niko played under a heavy burden on Saturday. All eyes, including mine, were on him and the game he played was the best answer he could give," Kranjcar said.

"Hats off to Sweden for their 7-0 against Malta, but our 3-0 win against Hungary has certainly let them know that we are a good and dangerous team."
