The Stitch In Time Club is organising its third cross-stitch exhibition at the Catholic Institute, Floriana, between Friday and Sunday. This year's exhibition will be on a grand scale as it will trace the six-year history of the club.
Some 400 hand-stitched items will be on display. These will be divided into various categories. They include picture frames, clocks, quilts, Christmas stockings, runners, towels and other items limited only by the members' imagination. The event will be sponsored by Imagine of St John Street, Valletta and Birkirkara Bypass.
A lottery will be held during the exhibition, with a quilt embroidered by club members, a tablecloth embroidered with hollies and a set of embroidered towels as the prizes.
The proceeds of the lottery will be in aid of WOW! (Wishing Others Well!) the social arm of the Millennium Chapel project.
The exhibition will be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
