The Malta Cruise Network participated in the Seatrade Cruise Convention in Miami, the largest convention in the world for the cruise liner industry.

Over 800 cruise liner representatives attended the exhibition and participants from 105 countries, including Malta, were there, affirming the global nature of the cruise industry annual gathering.

The Maltese participants included VISET's Valletta Waterfront, the Malta Tourism Authority, Malta International Airport, the Malta Shipyards, ship suppliers, ship agents, excursion providers and the Malta Maritime Authority. Response was positive both for port of call and home port operations.

The Malta Cruise Network was founded last December by the major service providers in the industry: VISET plc, the Malta Tourism Authority, and Malta International Airport plc. It is partnered with over 25 local stakeholders, other large service providers and government departments.
