The next Din l-Art Helwa "cultural roadshow" on October 27 will focus on Mqabba.

The presentation is being held at The Old Hospital in St Innocent Street at 7 p.m. and is being organised in conjunction with the Mqabba local council.

This event is one of a series of activities commemorating Jum l-Mqabba 2005.

It unfolds in two parts with Victor Rizzo illustrating the work of Din l-Art Helwa since 1965, the year of its foundation.

The second part will be given by historian John Saré who will be talking about Underground Burial Chambers - Pagan And Christian.

In his presentation Mr Saré will deal with Annetto Caruana's excavation work in this field between 1881 and 1887.
