Recently I received very shabby treatment over the phone from an employee at the Air Malta Sales Office, Malta International Airport. I would like to commend Lorraine Williams who promptly and efficiently took the matter in hand and assured me that they would make it a point to reprimand the employee involved.

I subsequently received a very courteous letter from Brian Bartolo who was most eloquent in offering his apologies and assuring me that such treatment is frowned upon by Air Malta and certainly goes against all their policies.

While thanking them both for their consideration, I sincerely hope that they will do their utmost to ensure that their workforce is constantly aware that such attitudes are totally unacceptable. Only then can we really move forward.
