The newly set up Customs enforcement unit will be displaying some of its equipment, including a Mobile X-Ray Unit, at City Gate, Valletta as part of Customs Day activities tomorrow morning. Demonstrations will be held on how the equipment helps Customs detect undeclared goods.

The Customs dog section will be giving a demonstration with its sniffer dogs, used mostly to detect the importation of drugs. The programme starts at 10 a.m.

In the evening the Customs Department will hold Mass for its staff at the Customs Quay.
