Melita Cable's Video-on-Line has selected Canadian Sandvine's policy management technology as a means of reducing network congestion and improve quality of service for its internet subscribers.

The announcement was made at the ITU Telecom World 2003 conference in Geneva.

Video-on-Line is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Melita Cable plc which provides a service to more than 95,000 subscribers.
