A 38-year-old woman was grievously injured when she fell off her bicycle in Mosta on Friday.

The police said the accident happened in Triq il-Kultellazz at 8.20am.

A medical team gave the woman, who is British and lives in Mosta, first aid on-site. She was then taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance.

The police are investigating.
