Datatrak at Commercial Vehicle Show

Datatrak Solutions International Ltd and their UK partners Siemens VDO Trading Ltd were recently represented at the Commercial Vehicle Show in Birmingham, the annual technology showcase for the UK transport industry.

Datatrak Solutions International Ltd (DSIL) is the software solution arm of the Datatrak group. Together with its sister company Datatrak IT Services (DITSL), DSIL offers a complete range of Geographic Information Systems (GIS)-related services from field data capture to the development and implementation of GIS-based solutions.

Siemens is the world's largest international trading company, second largest in the field of IT and electronics, and the world's sixth largest employer with over 430,000 employees globally.

For the past three years, DITSL and now DSIL have been working hand-in-hand with Siemens VDO (formerly Siemens Datatrak UK) to provide the UK market with Mobile Asset Management Information Solutions.

This year Siemens VDO Trading Limited signed a contract with DSIL, giving Siemens exclusivity to market DSIL products in the UK. Indeed, Siemens have been aggressively and successfully marketing mobile data solutions developed by DSIL, solutions which use the Datatrak two-way data network and alternative mobile data networks for terrestrial global applications.

Furthermore, Siemens has also been commissioning DSIL to a number of its Datatrak-related software requirements.

Datatrak Online is a Web-based mapping system that allows users to track their vehicle or vehicle fleet from any Internet ready computer, anytime and anywhere in the European market.

DispatchIT is an easy-to-use job management and dispatch system which automates all aspects of day-to-day jobs, from job creation to on-the-field job completion, providing a direct connection between the back office and on-the-field components of the business process, streamlining communications with clients and on-the-field staff.
