The Graffitti group joined forces with other humanitarian organisations to mark the International Day for Refugees on Saturday.

In a statement the group recalled that asylum seekers were not criminals and therefore should not be treated as such.

It believes that the problem of illegal immigration could not be resolved through repression, but through a process of integration.

Graffitti also urged the authorities to deal with the problem of illegal immigration with a more social awareness.
