Update 8.09pm

A 41-year-old woman was found stabbed to death in a St Julian's residence this afternoon.

The body of Caroline Magri, a St Julian's resident, was found at a residence on Triq George P. Badger at around 5pm, police confirmed. There was nobody else present at the residence.

Investigators are now looking for a man they believe may have been in a relationship with Ms Magri, police sources said. 

Magistrate Consuelo Scerri Herrera has ordered an inquiry into the death. Police are investigating further.
