The public entities section of the Union Haddiema Maghqudin said yesterday that the government had accepted its appeals for the implementation of the collective agreement for executive secretaries of local councils.

The section said that the agreement had been signed some months ago between the UHM , the Association of Local Council Executive Secretaries and the Local Councils Association, but despite the agreement, the executive secretaries were not benefiting from the new conditions agreed upon.

The section said that in the meantime it would continue to insist on an extension of the executive secretaries' contract from three to four years as had been agreed. It would also insist that their definite contracts be changed to indefinite ones.
