A 44-year-old man was yesterday charged with defiling two boys, aged seven and 10.

Lewis Briffa, of Paola, pleaded not guilty to defiling the two boys and offending public morals in Paola on and before Saturday.

Magistrate Denis Montebello granted Mr Briffa bail against a Lm500 deposit and a personal guarantee of Lm1,000.

Police Inspector Malcolm Spiteri prosecuted.

Lawyer Duncan Borg Myatt appeared for the accused.
