Juventus captain Alessandro Del Piero has been ruled out for at least a month with a left hamstring problem, the injury-hit Serie A club said in a statement.

The 34-year-old striker has barely featured this term having only just returned to fitness after a back problem.

Juve said midfielder Tiago would also be out for 20 days with a similar injury sustained in Wednesday's 0-0 Champions League draw at Bayern Munich.

Playmaker Diego took a knock but should be fit for Sunday's league game at Palermo but Fabio Cannavaro, Hasan Salihamidzic and Mohamed Sissoko are still out.
