Prof. H. Semar has been appointed Director of the Network Infrastructure Directorate of the Malta Transport Authority, taking over from Carmel Zammit, who was Director of Roads, Transport Minister Jesmond Mugliett said in reply to a parliamentary question yesterday. Prof Semar is an employee of the German Agency for Technical Cooperation which has a contract with the MTA to provide professional services.

The minister was replying to a parliamentary question by Chris Agius (MLP).
