The licence holder of a discotheque was yesterday cleared of inconveniencing neighbours by allowing loud music to be played three years ago.

Magistrate Consuelo Scerri Herrera cleared Raymond Desira, the licence holder of Liquid Club, after noting that the case had been going on for three years and that the prosecution and the lawyer who appeared in parte civile had failed to call up the witnesses.

Police Inspector Kevin Farrugia prosecuted.
