Diver critical following dive in Ċirkewwa
Police investigations ongoing
A 59-year-old diver is in critical condition after finding himself in difficulty in the Ċirkewwa diving area on Sunday.
Police said they were informed of the incident at around 9.00 am, with a medical team rushing to the scene.
The diver, an Iklin resident, was taken to Mater Dei Hospital and was certified as being in serious condition.
No further details were provided at the time.
Police investigations are ongoing, and Magistrate Ian Farrugia is leading a probe into it too.
