Calvin Harris and Lewis Capaldi to headline SummerDaze Festival
SummerDaze will take place between 11 and 15 August
SummerDaze Festival is back this August, with global superstar singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi and DJ Calvin Harris set to headline two separate shows at Ta'Qali.
Lewis Capaldi will be performing on August 11, and is known for his 2019 hit single Someone You Loved and Wish You the Best rose to international fame when his song hit number one on the UK singles chart shortly after its release.
The Scottish singer-songwriter first performed in Malta back in 2022 at the Floriana Granaries.
The second main event will be headlined by producer and DJ Calvin Harris on August 15, in collaboration with BBC Radio 1 Dance Anthems X and Creamfields.
Known for his tracks One Kiss, This Is What You Came For and How Deep Is Your Love, Harris is no stranger to Malta, having first performed at Numero Uno back in 2012, and visited a year later to another roaring party at the MFCC in Ta'Qali.
In 2025, Harris released new music, including singles Blessings (featuring Clementine Douglas) and the track Ocean (with Jessie Reyez).
This year, the festival will be hosted at the Ta'Qali Concert Area.
Tickets will be sold for €10 and will include a reusable cup to be used throughout the festival.
Tourism Minister Ian Borg said SummerDaze has become a key highlight of Malta's summer cultural calendar.
"Bringing internationally acclaimed artists such as Lewis Capaldi and Calvin Harris to Malta not only enriches our events portfolio but also continues to attract diverse audiences from across Europe and beyond," Borg said.
“SummerDaze 2026 promises to deliver an exceptional festival experience, combining top-tier international talent with a fresh new venue at Ta’ Qali Concert Area," Carlo Micallef, CEO of the Malta Tourism Authority, added.
"This year’s edition highlights our focus on sustainability, high-value experience, and innovation, while continuing to offer outstanding value for attendees. Events like SummerDaze play an important role in enhancing Malta’s appeal as a dynamic and contemporary destination for music lovers."
