Haruna Doda will be donning the colours of Hibernians FC next season. The Nigerian forward yesterday agreed terms and put pen to paper on a one-year deal with the Paola club.

Last season, Doda played for Birkirkara but last week he was informed that he was no longer needed by the Stripes. His contract was subsequently terminated.

Hibernians, who earlier this month ended the contract of another Nigerian striker, Ndubisi Chukunyere, moved quickly to secure the services of the 28-year-old. Doda will now team up with fellow Nigerians Essien Mbong and Udo Nwoko.

The Paolites have already started their pre-season training, again under the charge of coach Robert Gatt.

Doda is expect to attend his first training session with his new club tomorrow.
