Dog rescued from 11-metre-deep well

Rescuers went down the well shaft to pick up the dog

A dog that fell into an 11-metre-deep well was rescued safe and sound by personnel of the Civil Protection Department.

The CPD said the operation took place in Swatar and involved a Border Collie.

The rescuers used specialised rope access techniques to safely pull up the distressed dog. The animal was unharmed.
