The Mizzi Organisation and employees recently donated over Lm4,200 to various charities.

The money was raised by the Employee Charity Fund, launched in 1992 and funded by the majority of the employees, who donate a sum from their earnings on a voluntary basis.

The amount collected by the employees under this scheme is then doubled by the board of directors and a donation is made annually.

The beneficiaries were the Dar il-Kaptan, St Rita Home, Dar tal-Providenza, Dar il-Wens, Hospice Movement and Eden Foundation.
