A new world record for import dragsters running on race fuel no Methanol was registered in a MDRA Night Race held recently at Ħal-Far. Gary Curmi’s Mibrum Toyota Supra (picture) became the first to break into the six-second barrier, scorching the raceway in 6.99 seconds and reaching speeds of 192.98 mph. Curmi was assisted by engine-builder Joseph Tabone and JMC Power auto tuner, of Cyprus.
