An Algerian man living in Sliema was yesterday charged with drink driving.

Khediri Saad Ouahib, 27, pleaded not guilty to driving a car under the influence of drink or drugs and in excess of the blood-alcohol limit.

He was also charged with involuntarily damaging a car and other property.

Police Inspector Stephen J. Gatt prosecuted.
