The driver of a car was seriouly injured in a double collision in Msida yesterday.

The police said the man, 48, from Swieqi, was in a Peugeot 206 which was first involved in a collision with a Fiat Punto and then crashed into a concrete bollard by the side of the road.

The accident happened in M.A. Vassalli Street at about 11.30 a.m.

One of the two passengers in the Peugeot was slightly injured.

Msida district police are investigating.
