A 19-year-old Hamrun man was yesterday charged with the possession of about 250 grammes of cannabis resin in circumstances denoting it was not for his personal use.

Christopher Mifsud pleaded not guilty to the possession of the drug on and before November 17. He was remanded in custody.

Inspectors Jeffrey Cilia and Christopher Pullicino prosecuted.

Dr Michael Sciriha appeared for Mifsud.
