A Valletta man was yesterday charged with the possession of ecstasy and cocaine with the intent to sell the drugs.

Glenn Bezzina, 23, admitted to the simple possession of the drugs but pleaded not guilty to intending to sell the drugs on and before Saturday.

He was remanded in police custody.

Police Inspectors Dennis Theuma and Pierre Grech prosecuted.

Dr Leslie Cuschieri appeared for the accused.
