Drug trafficking charge

A 24-year-old man was yesterday charged with the possession of cocaine and heroin and the trafficking in ecstasy and cannabis.

The Englishman who lives in Tarxien was also charged with the possession of amphetamine in circumstances denoting it was not for his personal use on and before June 26.

He pleaded not guilty to all charges and was remanded in custody. Police Inspector Dennis Theuma prosecuted. Dr Jason Azzopardi and Dr Chris Busietta appeared for the accused.
