Scissors and four packets believed to contain drugs were recovered in one of the prison’s divisions by officials at the facility.

The government said in a statement the find showed that the prison administration was working harder to fight and curb the entry of drugs in jail.

More frequent tests were being held and a greater use of the new dogs trained to search for drugs was being made. The find was reported to the police who are investigating to eventually take criminal action against two prisoners.
