In what way does the EAGGF help the farmer?

The European Agricultural Guidance and Guarantee Fund (EAGGF) is divided into sections. The Guarantee Section finances price support measures of agricultural products; and export refunds to guarantee farmers stable prices. The Guidance Section grants subsidies to farmers for rationalisation schemes, modernisation and structural improvements in farming as well as measures of rural development. Maltese farmers as EU citizens will be eligible to such funding.
