Consumers warned not to consume these Korean rice cake cups

The Food Safety Authority on Thursday warned consumers to avoid eating four types of rice cake cups because of possible spoilage.

In a statement, the authority said the four products were all from the Korean brand Yopokki.

The implicated products are the 120g cup of cheese flavoured rice cake (best before date 18/12/2026), the 140g cup of sweet and spicy flavoured rice cake (best before date 16/12/2026), the 120 g rice cake cup Jjajang (best before date 13/01/2027), and the 145g rice cake and ramen cup hot and spicy (best before dates 13/12/2026; 13/01/2027)

Consumers are advised not to consume the implicated product and either dispose of it or return it to the store from which it was purchased.
