Eclectic artist's exhibition

Corinthia Palace Hotel at San Anton is hosting an exhibition of paintings by artist Jeni Caruana.

British-born Ms Caruana studied art for six years before settling in Malta in 1977. She has held regular solo exhibitions and participated in numerous joint, group and collective shows in Malta and abroad, representing Malta in the UK, USA, Sardinia, Tunisia and Norway.

Her works cover a wide variety of subjects and media, from landscapes and prehistoric temples to jazz musicians, sand to ceramics, watercolour to wooden sculptures. They are always based on good drawing and keen observation and generally started on location or from live models.

The exhibition is open until December 3. The artist will be present 6-8 p.m. Monday to Friday and 10 a.m. to noon and 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
