The police seized 33 ecstasy pills as well as cannabis resin and cocaine during a raid in Hamrun on Saturday night.

After being tipped off that drugs were being trafficked in Hamrun members of the mobile and drug squads went on the scene, where there was a party going on without a permit, and seized the drugs, police said.

Several people are expected to be arraigned in connection with the case. Investigations are still underway.
