Eddie vs Eddie

The only thing they have in common is their Christian name. So here goes Eddie Privitera belittling Eddie Fenech Adami on his award as Europe's Achiever of the Year.

But please Mr Privitera I do not think you should take on I.M. Beck as well as you will certainly get yourself into a tangle with your mixed arguments. I ask you: How can I.M. Beck not have a leg to stand on and then "tried standing on a straw" (without legs!)? Perhaps Mr Privitera was clutching at straws himself in his efforts to belittle Dr Fenech Adami's achievement.

But I am sure both the prime minister and I.M. Beck do not need me to come to their defence.
