Nationalist Party general secretary Joe Saliba and Parliamentary Secretary Tony Abela yesterday filed two separate libel suits in the Magistrates' Courts.

Saliba filed the suit against Maltatoday editor Saviour Balzan over an article entitled Saint Joseph The Housekeeper published in the July 4 issue.

Abela filed his suit against KullHadd editor Felix Agius and journalist Glenn Bedingfield over an article entitled Nutar, zewg kuntratti u frodi kbar (A Notary, Two Contracts And Big Fraud) published in the July 25 issue.

Dr Joseph Zammit Maempel signed both suits.
