A free course is being organised for those who wish to familiarise themselves with the disciplines used in preserving cultural heritage and its artefacts. The course will be held between June and August.

The course is aimed at anyone who wants to learn more about cultural heritage artefacts and their upkeep. It will address all areas of study, namely paintings, stone, metals, ceramics, glass, textiles, paper, and wood. The course is part of a whole project named ESF 1.31 Wood CPR: Education and Training in Wood Conservation and Restoration, which is being part-financed by the EU's European Social Fund under Operational Programme II - Cohesion Policy 2007-2013.
